Hi! Nice to meet you - I'm Sarah (she/they) and I love stories.

I am a 2D layout artist and aspiring background painter. As well as digital drawing and painting, I also enjoy traditional paint mediums such as watercolour and gouache, and drawing with graphite and colour pencils.
​
My love of stories and storytelling means that I am obsessed with watching films [animated and live-action alike], researching social history and listening to music and podcasts.
​
I love listening to movie soundtracks and scores; and some of my favourite movies are Only Yesterday (1991), Always (1989), Whisper of the Heart (1995).

Originally from Surrey, England - I am now a Canadian citizen living in Ottawa with my partner, our three cats, and my very large collection of houseplants.

Short Film - Cat Fight
I had the privilege to work on the short film, Cat Fight - Directed by Hana Handoko, Julie Nguyen and My Linh Pham.
I worked as Production Manager, Colour Designer and Background Painter.
The short was showcased at the Ottawa Animation Show & Tell in 2024 at the Mayfair Theatre. It additionally won as a daily feature on Newgrounds and made the front page.
